HOW IT WORKS 04

Zcash orders it.
These rules score it.

The three memos

FLAP deploy TICKER supply price creator

Claims a ticker. The first paid memo wins it and sets supply and price permanently.

FLAP buy TICKER holder

Buys at the fixed price with attached ZEC, in whole coins and never past supply.

FLAP send TICKER amount to nonce signature

Moves a balance. The proof is the holder signature, not the payment value.

The numbers

Deploy costs0.00100 ZEC
A transfer carries0.00001 ZEC
Confirmations before folding2
Ticker2 to 8 characters

There is no protocol trade fee. The deploy fee makes claiming a ticker deliberate.

Why a memo at all

Zcash has no smart contracts, but it does provide a 512-byte encrypted note on shielded payments and an address with a view key that can be published. That is enough to produce a private instruction and a reproducible public record.

What changes next

When native shielded assets activate, each ledger balance is designed to convert one to one into an on-chain asset. At that moment, the ledger stops being the source of truth and consensus takes over.

What could cost you

01

We hold the ZEC.

There is no escrow contract on Zcash. Money sent to a sale sits with Flapline until it is spent or returned.

02

The ledger is the record.

Until native assets exist, balances are reconstructed from the public rules and published viewing key, not enforced by consensus.

03

Refunds are manual for now.

Overpayments are recorded as owed and settled by hand. The spend path is deliberately not implied.

04

Your holder key is yours alone.

It never leaves this browser. It cannot be reset, and whoever holds it owns the balance.

05

A memo typed wrong does nothing.

Unreadable orders are counted and ignored, even though the ZEC carrying them has still arrived.
